Thanks to Rachel Sheehan from TV Guide for the heads up:
How do the producers of ABC’s Lost plan to make their grab for Emmys gold? TVGuide.com has the exclusive reveal of which six episodes they submitted for consideration in the Outstanding Drama series category.
As expected, both parts of the Season 5 finale, “The Incident,” made the cut. But which other four hours hope to be deemed Emmy-worthy?
Well, “The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham” made the short list, as did the similarly Locke-centric “Follow the Leader.”
Rounding out Lost‘s Emmy reel are “La Fleur” (in which Sawyer went from con man to big man on the Dharma campus) and “The Variable” (which revealed Faraday’s dangerous plan to “save” the future).
With Lost‘s list now revealed, one big mystery remains: Can the 2005 winner for Outstanding Drama Series beat the six other contenders in this year’s race — Big Love, Breaking Bad, Damages, Dexter, House and Mad Men?

Gitsie Girl’s Thoughts On “Follow The Leader”
LOST Theories, Recaps/Reviews, Season 5
I think Dan was wrong. Not that they cannot change the future because truth be told, any of us can change our future. We can chose to turn right instead of left and save our own life unknowingly. But, not all of us are transported to the past and therefore that decision has ramifications on the course of our lives on a whole. Dan was wrong that the Losties weren’t supposed to come back to the island. Yes they were. In fact, they had to come back in order to save Ben and set off the bomb, creating the *incident* which lead to the quarantine of the hatch, the button pushing and so forth. If the Losties had not have returned none of that could have happened and there is where their fate could have been changed. Yes, my head is going in circles too.
1. Looks like the old Locke is completely gone. The boars of the island aren’t safe with him around. This scene reminded me of the good old days on the beach were Locke went around killing stuff for them to eat.
2. I’m glad that Locke’s compass can still find North, according to Richard, because they *always* go North.

“Follow The Leader” Recap & Analysis By Chris Kirkman
LOST Theories, Recaps/Reviews, Season 5
Previously, on Lost: Ben whacked Locke, but Locke fooled Ben, and later told Sun that he could find Jin. Daniel told Jack of some temporal slack, and, with Kate looking on, said he’d get their lives back. All it required, he said with aplomb, was some faith and some time and a hydrogen bomb. So Dan threatened old Richard, his thoughts not the clearest, and was soon dropped with a boom by his blonde mommy dearest. A little bit of blood, then down with a whup, except for details that’ll catch us all up.
Athankyou.
This week, on Lost: Kate is a whore.
Wait, I’m getting ahead of myself. First things first: Dan is dead. Really dead. Off the twig. Kicked the bucket. Shuffled of his mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleeding choir invisible. He is an ex-physicist.
You’ve got to watch those blondes every minute, buddy.
While all that’s been going down, Jack and Kate are in the bushes watching, which means they’re totally safe and all and … who am I kidding? Kate’s in the bushes, which means she’s gonna get kidnapped, again, and Jack is going to get bitch slapped. What do you know, that’s exactly what happens.
